The Emerson Venue is such a unique place. It mixes contemporary design with traditional midwestern architecture. The amazing ladies at Corral Lane Event Rentals are behind it. They got help from interior designer extraordinaire Leanne Ford. Less than an hour from downtown Dallas, The Emerson Venue was the perfect backdrop for this stylish bridal session.
My friend Shannon Duggan was down from her home in Missouri and helped with all the planning. We got a few favorite creatives together to make this session extra amazing. The bride wore two pieces by Dallas designer Elizabeth Leese. She is a fellow University of North Texas grad who creates modern bridal fashion. Natalia Issa worked her magic with makeup and Olivia Merritt provided beautiful florals. Sarah Ann Design made a custom invitation suite that was perfect.
The black and white walls of the Emerson were great for modern bridal portraits. They help the bride and fashion pop without distraction. I used a mix of medium format film and digital to capture everything. Bringing in a fine art perspective is something I love to do with bridals. I like more of a fashion editorial vibe that highlights the brides style. Bringing in favorite accessories that mean something to the bride is always encouraged.
This was such a fun day with some of my favorite creatives! If you would like to learn more about me and my work, or if you are thinking of getting married, please say hi! I would love the opportunity to connect with you and tell your story.
