My favorite Maui beach

Kamalei & Kaikea were so much fun!  We met up at one of my favorite beaches for their Maui beach engagement photos.  This beach, in northwest Maui, has it all.  We walked down a steep, tree covered ridge that opened onto the sand.  It feels secluded, especially the rocky southern end.  The sound of the surf and bird calls were the only sounds.  Perhaps the most unique aspect of this beach is a section of black rock wall.  It makes a stunning backdrop for beach engagement photos!

These two native Hawaiians looked great in black.  Kamalei wore a beautiful tulle gown that popped against the tropical setting.  We stuck close to the water and had fun climbing rocks.  There was even a brief rainbow appearance.  The sun set behind the rocky cliffs and cast a golden glow off the water.  It’s something that you only get at a place like this.  Needless to say, I can’t wait to get back to Maui again soon!
