Mid-Century Palm Springs At Home Session in California

Mid-Century Palm Springs At Home Session | Destination Wedding Photographer

Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree National Park is well known for its desert vistas and landscapes.  That and U2 of course.  This gigantic area in Southern California, east of Los Angeles, has a vibe all its own.

The couple

Nearby, Palm Springs is the Mid-Century Modern capital of the world. It’s such an amazing place to escape to with the one you love.  Bianca and Andy left the craziness of Hollywood and headed out for a weekend. They combined the best of Palm Springs style and Joshua Tree wilderness.  Bianca’s an actress/writer from Texas with an adorable chihuahua. Andy’s a comedy writer/producer From New York with wonderful knowledge of film.

The Home

We met up at this amazing home high in the Yucca Valley area right outside the National Park.  It was tough, but I managed to get up in time to catch the amazing desert sunrise. The light coming through the large windows was perfect.  We spent the day exploring the area. Besides the stunning decor, there’s an amazing swimming pool and greenhouse.  The “backyard” was our own little piece of Joshua Tree, with boulders, road runners, and cactus.  I’m so excited to go back to this magical area an explore more of it with other adventurous couples!
