Texas Hill Country Engagement Session at Pedernales Falls State Park

Samantha and Chris wanted an adventurous Texas Hill Country engagement session. This sweet couple come from different parts of the country and met in Madison, Wisconsin. Keeping with the state capital theme, they now call Austin home.

The Texas Hill Country landscape was a great change of pace for them. We met in Dripping Springs and headed west to Pedernales Falls State Park. There we climbed over and under rocks and streams to find some beautiful spots. I took the panorama below at the end of our session and it includes the entire area we explored.

I brought what we thought were black smoke bombs. Turned out they were white. Oh well. We did lots of dancing on a multitude of surfaces. Thankfully, nobody fell or broke any bones and my camera is still intact. I’d call that a successful day! Hope you enjoy this fun Texas Hill Country engagement session.
