Dallas Bridal Session Portraits | Wedding Photographer Jeff Brummett

I don’t often get the chance to photograph bridal portraits, but I always have so much fun when I do.  A bridal session offers the chance to really get creative and take your time with capturing a brides personality and style.  It helps strengthen the relationship between the wedding photographer and the bride. It also allows her to have a trial run for hair, makeup, and floral bouquet.  It seems to be more of a southern tradition but can be just as valid no matter the location.  In fact, one of the great reasons for bridal sessions is that they can be anywhere you like.  Even destination weddings can greatly benefit from a bridal session a day or two before the wedding.

Thankfully, Callie gave me the opportunity to capture her beauty at a stunning historical mansion on Dallas Texas’ Swiss Avenue.  The Aldrege House, built in 1917, is full of charm and character, like Callie herself.  We spent a gorgeous spring afternoon exploring the house, its beautiful grounds, and the amazing greenhouse.
