Virgin Hotel Engagement Session

Chandler and Hunter’s Virgin Hotel Engagement Session

“Our story is pretty unique,” says Chandler. “You could call it a rekindled flame, divine timing, or that Hunter and I are soulmates (and I’d agree). I believe what is meant to be will always find its way.”
 

“Hunter and I were high school sweethearts that went our separate ways after graduating. During that break up conversation he actually said,  “Chandler, I wish I would’ve met you later on in life because you’re the woman I want to marry.” He didn’t want to date, he wanted to go live life and experience it as any young adult should. It was very honest of him, and I had to respect that. It was the most confusing and hardest thing to accept and it laid dormant in my heart for many years. I learned a lot of lessons and things I needed to experience before that could happen. I’m grateful for the people and the hard lessons that got me where I am today.

Fast forward 6 years, and a universe with a funny sense of humor. We ran into each other in Fort Worth! Hunter was moving to the DFW area in a few weeks following a promotion he had just received. I too had just moved to DFW a few weeks before that. From then it was history and that was 2 and a half years ago. My intuition has always said he was the one.”

Why They Clicked

Chandler: “I felt an immediate connection to Hunter following our first date and conversation. He has always felt like home to me. We always joke that our first kiss felt familiar. If we have past lives, then we have definitely kissed before. He has the sweetest spirit and kindest heart, you can’t help but gravitate towards him. He’s the best person I know. I love him with every part of my being, and I can’t wait to be his wife!”
 
Hunter: “With Chandler, I fell in love with her because I immediately realized that she was different than anyone I had ever met on this planet before. She was absolutely stunning and her beauty didn’t touch what her heart had to offer. I was mesmerized and will forever be until I leave this earth. The moment I met her I instantly knew she was my forever and always. We formed a connection that no one could touch, until they did. Even then, we managed to somehow find each other in this world after everything we both experienced. If that isn’t destiny I don’t know what is. So if you ask me what made me fall in love with Chandler, my answer for you is that is was inevitable. The moment I laid eyes on her I knew she would be my forever. I love you Chandler with everything that I have and always will.”

“The potential of Virgin Hotel engagement photos is hard to beat!” says Chandler. “The Virgin hotel is breathtaking. In many ways it coincided with the old Hollywood vibe we wanted for our shoot! A Virgin Hotel engagement session was an easy decision.”

Wardrobe 

“I wanted to do something different than the traditional engagement photos” said Chandler. “I stumbled across Jeff’s photography on Pinterest after typing in ‘Dallas Hollywood Photographer’. After looking through his website and instagram I knew this was our guy. Photos have always and will always mean so much to me. Anyone close to me knows how funny I am about getting photos of special moments. I felt that passion when I looked at Jeff’s work. He has what I would call a “photographers intuition”. Anyone could buy a nice camera and push a button, but it takes a real artist to see the vision.

 

Old Hollywood glam photos on Pinterest and Jeff’s work really helped me pick our wardrobe selections. I knew I wanted to do something bold like red, and also something black and classy. Hunters outfit was inspired by Hollywood as well, you can’t go wrong with a classic black and white tuxedo! Hunter could wear anything if we are being honest and make it look good. He knew how much these photos meant to me, and made sure to help in any way he could! He was so kind, and such a good sport throughout the whole process!”

The Experience

“It was such a cool experience! Every time some one asks about our photos, the first thing we tell them is how much fun we had with Jeff! I would have my hair and makeup done professionally every day if I could! It all felt so effortless. Jeff made the experience so easy and it almost felt like we weren’t even taking photos. We had a blast! During the shoot we even agreed we would do more photoshoots like this in the future!”
