In the heart of the French Quarter, the Ritz Carlton serves as the backdrop for this New Orleans Wedding. It’s become apparent that our clients value a beautiful ceremony, an inviting dinner, and an epic reception. These two were no exception.
The day started capturing the couple preparing for their wedding, our stylish bride in a Galia Lahav gown. Gloves and teardrop earrings gave the feel a bit of a vintage essence that blends perfectly with the old-meets-new vibe in New Orleans. The groom styled a matte black tux ensemble with a bowtie and sleek oxfords.
This New Orleans wedding at the Ritz Carlton featured a ceremony in the courtyard surrounded by their loved ones. Framed by a birdcage-style gazebo adorned with a white floral installation with green accents that helped the bridesmaid’s sleek emerald gowns pop. The couple said “I do” and following the ceremony, guests shared hugs with the couple before we strolled through New Orleans for their portraits.
From streetcars to the palm tree-lined Canal Street, our couple wanted to take advantage of the feel that only New Orleans offers. It’s an effortlessly cool and a bit of a flirtatious vibe. Undoubtedly, exploring cities with our clients is when we create some of our favorite work.
Upon returning to the Ritz Carlton, guests were invited to join the couple for dinner. Sophisticated yet minimal decor adorned the reception space as candlelit tables with black and gold accents welcomed guests. Carefully placed florals softened the space. Entertained by toasts and a sweet cake cutting, family and friends enjoyed the atomosphere the couple had created.
As receptions go, you may guess that a New Orleans wedding reception would be one to remember. By all means? You’d be right. The dance floor didn’t stop, a chic dress change for the bride ensued, and a second line, because, New Orleans. Saxophones and bass drums boomed down the street and in like fashion trombones encouraged the crowd to lift their umbrellas into the air in celebration. It was the end of the night that signaled the beginning of the after-party.
