While all weddings at Mattie’s are unique, this one, featured on BRIDES, is one of our absolute favorites.

Our couple had recently moved to the Austin area when they began the wedding planning process. They found Mattie’s to be the perfect mix of southern comfort and casual elegance. The roaming peacocks on the property were a bonus as they were so beautiful and a delightful surprise for guests.

Choosing a “theme” for their wedding initially was a challenge, but like most of our clients, they leaned into what spoke to them as a couple and the rest fell into place. It began with attire. The bride choosing an elegant wedding gown with a detailed back that matched her Chanel shoes. She then went on to find the perfect feathered reception dress (we highly recommend showcasing your personality in your wedding gown and it’s even better if it’s two looks)!  The groom chose a dapper Ralph Lauren suit that was well fitting and timeless.

Their wedding at Mattie’s featured lush floral arrangements at every turn, an incredible outfit change for the bride and a reception for the books featuring Dry Water Band. Having a love of travel, our clients created table numbers that showcased places they had shared experiences together. And, as with most great celebrations, a champagne tower and cake cutting were also in order.

As we said, every wedding at Mattie’s is unique. This one just happened to be stylish, fun, and beautiful as well.
