Downtown Houston At Home Engagement | Texas Wedding Photographer

Lina & Nick’s at home engagement session in downtown Houston, Texas was such a great experience.  These two just bought their first home and wanted it to be a big part of their engagement photos.  The house is close to downtown Houston and dates back to the 1930s.  Nick even opened up a bottle of wine to commemorate the special occasion.  

Afterwards, we headed downtown to see what we could find.  I am pretty new to the downtown Houston area and didn’t quite know what to expect. Thankfully, there were so many great little spots to take advantage of, as well as some killer skyline shot opportunities (my favorite).  We even found an awesome little parking garage which gave us the opportunity to play with some artificial lights.  This is definitely a colorful area and we had fun playing with the different backdrops.  

This couple was up for anything and I’m always thankful to have people like them who let me be creative with their memories.  It’s important that you trust your photographer when they are documenting important things like you’r wedding day and I certainly felt that with Lina and Nick.  I can’t wait for their big day later this year at The Farmhouse wedding venue.
