Dallas Country Club Wedding

Virginia and John’s classic wedding at Highland Park Presbyterian Church and the Dallas Country Club was elegant, family-focused, and full of meaningful tradition.

Virginia and her bridesmaids got dressed in John’s mother’s home, the same house where John’s grandparents held their wedding reception decades prior. The women spent the morning in matching patterned pajamas as the team from Brite Beauty provided hair and makeup services.

Virginia’s gown featured a simple silhouette with a low, draped back. She completed her look with pearl jewelry and leather gloves from her time as a debutante.

The ceremony, held at Wynne Chapel at HPPC, was also the location of John’s grandparents’ ceremony. Classic white arrangements by Jackson Durham Events adorned the altar and church pews, emphasizing the beautiful stained glass windows in the chapel.

The reception, designed by Holloway Events, was held at the Dallas Country Club. Guests overlooked the river and golf course as they joined in cocktail hour on the patio before heading inside for Virginia & John’s first dance as a married couple. The reception space featured an abundance of white florals, blue and white patterned linens, monogrammed napkins, and cookies in the shape of Texas.

After dinner and dancing, Virginia changed into a short, feathered getaway dress. As they departed, guests sent them off by tossing rose petals.
